Headaches and migraines can be quite painful depending on the type. A little-known fact: there are over 150 different types of headaches. One hundred and 50 headaches are hard to wrap our heads around because most of us have only experienced a handful of common ones in our lives. However, those 150 variations are categorized into larger groups that we all are more familiar with. In this blog, I’m going to cover how headache pains and migraines are affected my PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) therapies.
Types Of Headaches …
The more common types of headaches are covered briefly below. Not everyone suffers from regular headaches or migraines. Therefore, it’s important to understand the benefits if you encounter these in the future. Tension-headaches are common and bring mild to moderate pain. Usually, resting will treat the pain.
Cluster headaches are painful and intense, but not as common as the others. Simply put, cluster headaches tend to happen in groups. A burning pain is usually experienced behind or around the eye.
Headaches are more easily treated with medication, most of which are over the counter. On the other hand, headache frequencies can be lowered altogether by implementing PEMF therapy into your regular routine.
… And Migraines
Migraines are often thought of as strong, intense headaches and are associated with the continual throbbing pain. Depending on the person, migraines can last several hours. In the worst cases, they can last for several days. You’ll know you’ve experienced a migraine after being very sensitive to light, sounds or, in some cases, smells. For parents out there, a migraine can have even worse effects on a child—pale skin, dizziness, fever, an upset stomach or even blurry vision. For the purpose of this informational blog, I’ll be lumping migraines together with headaches as both are considered head pain.
The Treatment Process
When a headache or a migraine occurs, the internal processes are the source of pain. Blood vessels constricting or pulsating causes the throbbing pain. External stimuli such as bright light, loud noises, excessive motion only exacerbate the pains inside your head. In many circumstances, they can be fueled by smells and foods. Generally, headaches and pains are caused by “an uneven distribution of blood flow in the brain. Vasodilation in one place and constriction in another.” — Source: EarthPulse.
You may be asking what is vasodilation? Hint: it’s in the name—vaso-dilation—is the dilation of blood vessels. While blood vessels regeneration plays a factor, the regeneration of nerves plays a bigger factor. Along the nerves are how the neurons communicate. Other factors include: “… the neurons of the nervous system through the neurochemical pathways, the interaction with motor cortical elements of your brain through the electrophysiological pathways, and by affecting the blood flow and circulatory system through your cardiovascular pathway.” — Source: PEMFTCanada
To put it simply, PEMF waves resonate throughout the body. At the right frequency and amplitude, they create harmony. In the body, nerves and cells communicate to one another with a bioelectric current on a low frequency. Because electromagnetic waves operate on a frequency achievable with PEMF devices, we can communicate with our bodies with artificial electromagnetic radiation. Magnetic fields surround not only us, but flow through us and even surround the Earth. That may sound harmful, but figure that radiation is around us in other forms–microwaves, X-rays and MRI machines at doctors’ offices. Just like PEMF treats tinnitus, reduces fibromyalgia, increase cellular metabolism, headaches are also an easily treatable condition.
